Buying
Buying a work of art is an exciting decision. The work becomes
a part of your life—stimulating, nurturing, & expressing
your presence in the world.
You’re welcome to visit my studio. Or we can do business
by mail. To buy a painting, linocut, or giclee, please mail
me a check for the purchase price plus shipping & handling
(plus 8% sales tax if you live in California). I'll ship the
piece within 10 days. If you’re buying a painting, I
suggest you e-mail or call me so I can put it aside for you
and to be sure it’s available.
You’re also welcome to phone or e-mail me with any
questions about the piece or shipping costs, or if you want
to share your experience of the piece. I’m happy to
tell you how I made it & what inspired it.
Currently I don’t offer credit card service. I do
offer time payments. If you need this option, please e-mail
or call. There is no finance charge.
Original paintings
Acrylic & mixed media paintings on canvas or screen
are finished by wrapping around their stretcher bars. No frame
is needed.
Most small works on paper are matted; larger works on paper
are unmatted. Call or e-mail about a specific work, or if
you want it framed.
Add $25 shipping & handling for paintings up to 11”
x 14”. Add $40 shipping & handling for paintings
from 12” x 16” to 18” x 24” For paintings
larger than 18 x 24” please phone or e-mail me for shipping
arrangements.
Original linocuts
Linocuts are original works. Linoleum blocks are hand-carved
& hand-printed in limited editions. “Linocut 30”
indicates an edition of 30 prints.
In addition to linocuts shown on this site, original linocuts
shown on www.sonic.net/~sandoak
are available for $60 unmatted or $80 matted.
Add $5 shipping & handling for first linocut, $1 for
each additional linocut to the same address.
Reproductions
Images marked with ** are available as giclee prints, approximate
image size 7” x 9” in 11” x 14” matts
for $40.
