I've always drawn & painted abstract images, but I've rarely shown them. I've emphasized images of plants, animals, spirits, & other elements of ecological healing. But when I wanted to illustrate my sonnets about these things, I found abstraction supported rather than competed with the poems. Then I rediscovered abstract paintings lying unappreciated in portfolios. Their energy & titles revealed them as another kind of healer. May these invite you to freedom of meaning, feeling & thought. |
